Wassup everyone,
Im prepping my car for race trim and can't seem to figure a way to drape form a piece of lexan to fit onto the rear hatch of an Integra. Ive seen all out drag cars such as the skunk2 integra and prospeed.com's drag integra have a drape formed lexan hatch..
Now i know you can place the lexan into a pizza style oven to heat the lexan and some how shape it, but i do not have access to a pizza oven. Does anyone have any other suggestions or know of a place that would be able to make one for me?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
eric

you think the lexan would fit in a pizza oven ?
Heres what I would try...
-size lexan to window.
-using a spring clamp (lots of clamps) start clamping from one side.
-use heat lamps to heat lexan slowly.
-as the lexan starts to form to the window continue clamping it from one side to the other.
-take your time.
-one thing that I'm not sure about is how hot that hatch window can get before it shatters, but you can try it.
-how thick of lexan are you using ?

Im going to use the thinnest lexan possible. Hopefully it will work....Thanks for the recomendations. As far as the hatch cracking i dont mind...as long as i can mold my lexan piece =)
Thanks for the info...
